Adobe Creative Residency 2018 Pitch
As an art student I spent countless long nights accompanied by Coltrane and other jazz legends while honing my own crafts in the visual arts. My passion for jazz became intertwined with my fine art, photography and design practices, so much so, that to this day my favorite collaborations have been with musicians. I will always be a music photographer. This project came out of the photography work I had been doing since 2016, my appreciation for America's first art form jazz. The exposure Adobe's platform would have provided to shed light on jazz visionaries today and to support my portraiture would have been a wonderful opportunity. The project made it to the finalist interview rounds but ultimately was not selected.
